Pilates & Barre
Our traditional Mat Pilates class is a class where we focus on lengthening, strengthening and toning your body. This powerful and graceful practice uses your body's core to empower your entire physique and connect your mind and breath with your body. Performed correctly, the exercises will help your body become longer and leaner, and you will feel a renewed energy of the mind, body and spirit.
Pilates fusion is an amazing core and full body workout where we also incorporate cardio. Be prepared to sweat up a storm as you tone your entire body. We incorporate moves from yoga, barre, cardio and Pilates in this workout as opposed to our mat Pilates class which is a classical based Pilates class
The great thing about Barre fusion is that it's for everyone. In this class we deliver a full body workout by using low impact movements. Get ready to work all range of motion with small movements. Don't be fooled by the small movements though, this class will definitely get those muscles functioning, aligned and toned. We'll use bands and light weights as well as your own body weight to transform your body.
Yin Yoga is a slower paced yoga practice. Poses are held for 45 seconds to 2 minutes (sometimes longer). Yin Yoga poses apply moderate pressure to the connective tissue of the body- tendons, fascia and ligaments- with the aim of increasing circulation to the joints thus improving flexibility and daily mobility.
Used to complete more active forms of Yoga and exercise, this yin practice is slow paced, calming and restorative leaving you with a feeling complete and oneness.
Yinyasa is an all levels class welcome to anyone. Half of the class is a vinyasa class where we move through postures with the flow of our own breath. The second have off class is more focused on the Yin practice of yoga where we hold postures for anywhere from 1-10 minutes.
All Levels Yoga
All levels yoga is a class for everyone. This class will vary in poses but will leave you feeling well rounded. If you're new to yoga or have been practicing for a while this class will support your practice. We'll use props such as blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters to make sure your yoga needs are met. This class is a slower flow than our Vinyasa Power hour.
Power Hour Yoga
Power Hour Yoga is a fluid and active style of yoga, and connects each movement with breath. All-levels are welcome but this class is our most intense yoga class. Our goal in this class is to get your focused on mind/body awareness and have you break a sweat in the hour that we've got you here. Please know that we increase the temperature of the studio for this class so if heat bothers you please consider our all levels yoga, gentle flow, gentle yoga or yin classes. Expect to experience a range of postures (standing, seated, inverted, prone and supine), surya namaskar (sun salutations), pranayama (breath practices) and a closing relaxation (savasana).
Aroma Flow Yoga
Our Aroma Flow Yoga class offers students a dynamic sequence of poses matched with breath. This class also uses aromatherapy in order to further open the senses. This is a great class if you're looking for a bit more movement than gentle yoga but a less intense class than our Power Hour. Tune inward and breathe in order to get into your body and out of your mind!
Gentle Yoga is a fabulous class for those just starting out with this wonderful practice of mind, body and spirit or looking to deepen their practice in a more restorative way. Please come to relax, learn, feel and enjoy. We will move through poses in a slower rate but continue to work with a sequence that matches each movement to breath. Feel free to ask questions and be curious about where each pose leads you. Like all our classes everyone is welcome. We can't wait to see you!
Gentle Flow Yoga
Our Gentle Flow Yoga is similar to our gentle style yoga but we do add a few more postures in this class. Beginners and all levels welcome. A great way to unwind during your day.
Strength & Stretch
40 minutes of strength, 20 minutes of stretch. Strength training consisting of a combination of cardio, weight lifting and core work followed by stretching muscles of the body at a slow and steady pace, such as hamstrings, quadriceps, hip flexors, calves, shoulders and more.
SCULPT 33 - More muscle means less fat! Combination of traditional strength training methods using free weights, resistance bands and your own body. Designed to provide you with a total body workout in one short format. Good for all levels.
Core & More
Exercising the core muscles is the key to total body strength. While the main focus of this class is strengthening and toning your core, this class also includes a variety of cardio and strength exercises. Core & More will help you achieve total body conditioning using a variety of equipment with challenges for all levels.
