Sara started practicing yoga in 2001 after being active in many sports that were taking a toll on her injured knee. Yoga first presented itself as alternative way to keep in shape, and through the years has unfolded as an integral part of all aspects of her life! In 2009, Sara received her 200-hour certification from Saraswati’s Yoga Joint in Norwalk, CT, and taught for 7 years in Connecticut before moving to, and teaching throughout the Charleston area. Her goal is to share with others the countless benefits yoga has brought to her own life. In addition to teaching yoga, Sara is a Registered Architect and Principal at Senst Architecture, where she specializes in residential architecture. Her yoga classes explore the manipulation of body structure, along with the ability to access one’s own unique interior environment, in order to create internal space. Spaciousness is cultivated through a generous flow of movement, breath, and consciousness. Her classes are upbeat, with an emphasis on letting go, becoming light, and expanding outward from an authentic place.
