The retreat package includes a 15% discount for facials and massages and 15% off of retail and skincare products at The Medical Spa on Kiawah and a discount with our local massage therapist if you choose. Please feel free to partake in all of the workshops or pick and choose. Each workshop will be $60 and if you choose to do all three the package will be discounted to $150.
An Evening of Yin and Myo-Fascial Massage Work

Friday, October 5th, 5:30-7:30 pm
Be prepared to learn a bit about the practice of yin yoga while experiencing it by candlelight. We will also incorporate myofascial work with the yoga tune-up balls so you will leave the evening ready to melt into your bed.
Restorative Yoga Followed by Yoga Nidra
Saturday, October 6th, 1-3:30pm
Enjoy a midafternoon siesta the “yogic way” through enjoying a restorative Yoga practice followed by the practice of deep yogic sleep (Yoga Nidra). The perfect way to get your mid-day rest on and re-energize yourself into the evening.
Saturday Evening Soiree 5:30-7:30 pm Wine and Cheese Soiree on Kiawah. Our gracious guest has offered to host everyone involved in the retreat to her home for an evening of wine and cheese with like minded people. Like all good Island parties, attire is casual and foot wear can be left at the door. (More information to follow at time of retreat)
Pranayama Breathing Workshop
Dr. Sundar Balasabrumanian
Sunday, October 7th, 2-4:00pm
Sundar is a Yoga Biology researcher, and is the Founder/Director of PranaScience Institute. His Yoga research has provided scientific evidence how Yoga practices could promote wellbeing in health and disease. Sundar has been researching techniques from the ancient Tamil tradition. He has published research papers and a book on Pranayama. This workshop will provide an insight into the science of Pranayama. The attendees will be able to get acquainted with various Pranayama methods, and their scientific basis and relevance to wellbeing in modern times.
